My lore and love goes far back with Katrina and Dylan. I have photographed them all over the country, in all different phases of their love story. So to be present for this day and this coming together, it just completed a piece of my heart. You see, we all met in the Lord Huron fan club and I was so looking forward to the music at their reception and the little hints of our favorite band in the details. But what made the day even better, besides the quintessential New Hampshire autumn weather, was seeing the way they completely loved on one another through out the entire day. Some people are just soul mates; Katrina and Dylan are an example of that.

The day started with some getting ready details and then we hopped up to the summit of the Peak for private vows. The lady bugs were absolutely everywhere and we were constantly pulling them out of Katrina's dress. A sign of good luck they say! Another jaw dropping and unique feature was Dylan's embroidered suit; which had woodsy and seasonal elements.

I always say with New Hampshire autumn weddings, you really don't need much to dress up the day. The foliage, pumpkins and local mums will do it all for you. The backdrop to their ceremony was like a painting; with Katrina's bridal cape flowing in the wind.

After emotional speeches, wild dancing and even cutting a high faerie themed cake with a sword, the night simmered down with people crowding around the freshly baked goods table; grabbing maple themed yummies. The perfect ending to the best day, and I am so sad it is over. But this is why photos exist right? To keep re-living it.
